Impending Doom and Gloom

Thursday night, no sleep at all. My dear sweet miniature poodle Chelsea had a rough night, we went to bed about 11pm and was up about 12:30 to take her downstairs to the loo.  I think she had a mini stroke, wouldn't stop walking around and staring at walls like a full blown dementia patient. She was almost blind and deaf but this morning I checked he eyes and she is suddenly totally blind which must be terribly frightening for her. At least while I'm writing this she is having sort of a sleep for 10 - 20 minutes at a time. I fear her time is drawing to a close after 16 years and half years of having her constantly by my side day and night ...... I'll see what the morning brings but while I'm praying hard for her to have a great night, I fear the rainbow bridge maybe in sight.
